Arteriosclerosis is a condition when arteries loss its elasticity and flexibility, become hard and narrow. Stiffness and thickness of blood vessels become narrow to carry oxygen and nutrients to other organs. The reason behind the problem is plaque.

Plaque build-up in the inner walls of arteries, due to bad cholesterol, sodium, and calcium. Which is not completely used in bones, and store in the blood vessels to block the way of blood.

Blood vessels caries the oxygen rich blood from heart to the all tissues of body. In the presence of plaque the way becomes narrow to flow. When the waist stick to the inner walls of the vessels, blood vessels loss its elasticity.

Healthy arteries are flexible and enough space to carry good amount of oxygen and nutrients.
